Recently moved to Hanover and were recommended to this place by friends. We are pretty picky when it comes to our Chinese food. This place is no-frills but has great food. It's quickly become our go-to for Chinese.

Went to imperial for my birthday they have the most amazing friend rice ever. So delicious, no fat in the pork all meat. Sonny made us the delicious planters punch with an orange and cherry. It was the perfect ending to our meal

This is a must try if you like Chinese food. I've been there several times and have never been disappointed.
They stay open until 1 AM so it's a good place to hit up if you are out late and want something good to eat. And the food is always fresh and never tastes like it was just thrown together.
Their combination plates will run you about $8 during lunchtime and between $11 and $12 at night. The prices are not bad at all considering the amount of food they give you. Every time I eat there I have enough to get me full plus take home leftovers that I can get another meal out of. And the best thing about their combination plates is that you get a main entree plus rice and then you get to pick one out of nine appetizer choices as your appetizer. Most places have a set appetizer that goes on their plates and half the time I have to substitute and pay extra. But not here. I've had their Cashew Chicken and also their Beef with Broccoli and both are very delicious. For appetizers I would recommend their Chicken Fingers and Crab Rangoon.
The service is always fast and the waitstaff is always friendly. I will definitely be back. -

UPDATE: beware of online menu. It is not current. Dinner menu is basically the same as lunch. We were fooled into thinking dishes like Peking Duck and Mongolian Lamb would be available for dinner. NOT! Menu from previous ownership has not been removed. Very disappointed in return visit for dinner.

This is by far the best Chinese food you can get anywhere on the south shore !! They cook it the way we like it !! We had beef fried rice for the first time. The beef melted in your mouth!! So good it's worth the ride !! This is truly are favorite place to eat !!
